General Information

  1. Service Overview:
    iQbot is an AI-powered chatbot service designed to assist users in automating conversations, streamlining customer support, and integrating with business workflows. The service allows for efficient interaction between businesses and customers using AI-driven responses and integration with Google Calendar and other APIs.
  2. User Types:
    The service is aimed at businesses, individual developers, and possibly consumers looking to implement AI chatbots for various purposes, including customer service, scheduling, and task automation.

User Obligations

  1. User Responsibilities:
    Users are expected to use iQbot responsibly and ethically. This includes adhering to all applicable laws and regulations, avoiding the use of offensive language, and not attempting to manipulate or exploit the chatbot for malicious purposes (e.g., spreading malware, spamming, etc.).
  2. Age Restrictions:
    To use iQbot, users must be at least 18 years old or have the permission of a legal guardian if they are under this age.

Privacy and Data Usage

  1. Data Collection:
    iQbot collects user data such as email addresses, usage logs, and conversational data to improve the chatbot’s functionality. It may also collect data related to third-party integrations (e.g., Google Calendar data). All data collected is handled in accordance with our privacy policy.
  2. Data Sharing:
    iQbot does not sell personal user data to third parties. However, data may be shared with trusted third-party service providers for the purpose of improving the service or with legal authorities if required by law.
  3. User Consent:
    Users are required to provide explicit consent before any data collection takes place. This will be obtained during account setup and prior to any third-party integrations.

Payment and Subscriptions

  1. Subscription Plans:
    iQbot offers different paid subscription tiers. Payment is required monthly or annually for paid subscriptions, depending on the user’s choice. The basic package is the standalone chatbot that can be embedded on different websites.  Tier 2 offers a bundle of the chatbot service with a website.
  2. Refund Policy:
    Refunds for paid subscriptions are offered on a case to case basis. There are generally no refunds for the service.

User Content and Conduct

  1. Content Ownership:
    Users retain ownership of any content they upload or create through the chatbot. However, iQbot may use anonymized data to improve its service. Users are prohibited from uploading illegal or harmful content.
  2. Prohibited Activities:
    Users are prohibited from using iQbot to engage in illegal activities, spread misinformation, or send unsolicited messages (spam). The platform also prohibits the exploitation of its systems for unethical purposes, such as phishing or fraud.

Liability and Disclaimers

  1. Service Availability:
    iQbot strives to maintain high availability, but the service may experience occasional downtime for maintenance or technical issues. iQbot is not liable for any damages resulting from service interruptions.
  2. Limitation of Liability:
    iQbot’s liability is limited to the amount users have paid for the service. The platform is not responsible for any indirect or consequential damages arising from the use of the service.
  3. Third-Party Integrations:
    iQbot integrates with third-party services like Google Calendar. While these integrations are intended to enhance user experience, iQbot is not responsible for issues arising from the third-party service itself (e.g., data breaches, downtime).

Termination

  1. Termination of Accounts:
    iQbot reserves the right to terminate user accounts for violating the terms of service or engaging in prohibited activities. Users will generally receive warnings prior to termination, except in severe cases.
  2. User Rights After Termination:
    If an account is terminated, all user data will be deleted within 30 days, unless required by law to retain it.

Dispute Resolution

  1. Dispute Process:
    In the event of a dispute, iQbot encourages users to contact customer support. If unresolved, disputes may be handled through arbitration, with users agreeing to waive the right to a trial by jury.

Jurisdiction:
Any legal disputes will be governed by the laws of Philippines and settled in courts located within that jurisdiction.
